Mention whether the display lights, a sound is heard or the drum attempts to move. State whether it is a gas or electric dryer and whether it shares a stacked installation with a washer. You do not need to remove covers or bypass a switch. We assess the actual fault and quote the repair rather than identifying a part from a no-start complaint alone.
Noise can point to a moving component
A new squeal, thump or grinding sound should be described along with when it occurs. Drum support, drive and motor-related issues can affect how a dryer runs. We inspect the source rather than promising a particular replacement part over the phone.

- Decide after diagnosis. We are licensed and insured. The $95 call includes the trip, appliance diagnosis and repair quote; the fee is waived with an approved, completed repair.

Is it helpful to mention that the dryer makes a sound but will not turn?
Yes. Describe the sound and whether the drum moves at all. Include when the behavior first appeared.
Can a dryer tumble and still have a heating problem?
Yes. The drum and heating functions can be affected separately. Tell us whether the dryer runs normally apart from the missing heat.
What if a needed part is not on the service vehicle?
Some repairs require a model-specific component to be ordered. We explain the next step and discuss a return visit when needed.
