A PRACTICAL SERVICE GUIDE
Build a short history of the changes
Tell us when temperatures first seemed different, whether the issue comes and goes and whether frost or noise changed too. Include any code displayed by the appliance. There is no need to open the cabinet or test internal sensors before requesting service. The technician considers the history and current operation together, then explains the findings and quote before repair begins.
A visit planned around your appliance.
- Describe the problem. Call (586) 339-4815 with the brand, symptom, city and preferred time. A model number is helpful but optional.
- Confirm the visit. Same-day and next-day service may be available. Your preferred time is a request until we confirm it.
- Decide after diagnosis. We are licensed and insured. The $95 call includes the trip, appliance diagnosis and repair quote; the fee is waived with an approved, completed repair.
Common parts carried when available help with many repairs. The diagnosis and part availability determine whether completion is possible on the first visit.
Ice, frost and water deserve a closer look
Heavy frost can interrupt airflow. A leak can come from a drain, a water connection or another component. An ice maker that stops producing ice may have a supply or appliance-side problem. We inspect the symptoms together rather than treating every puddle or warm shelf as the same fault.
For Oakland Township service, include these observations in your call. They help describe the issue without requiring you to choose the repair yourself.

Your questions, answered.
Can I request service for changing temperatures rather than total failure?
Yes. Describe the pattern, the compartments affected and any other visible symptoms. Intermittent cooling issues can still be assessed.
Can you look at a freezer that runs but is not freezing?
Yes. Running does not prove that the appliance is cooling correctly. We inspect the problem and explain the findings before recommending a repair.
Can I describe the issue without knowing the failed part?
Yes. Tell us what the appliance does, what has changed and any visible code. Professional diagnosis determines the repair recommendation.
